About Our Products

Where Are Your Manufacturing Facilities Located?


Firstweave does not have a company owned production unit. We are collaborating with Foundations, Self Help Groups and Artisans across India to design, build and source these products. This commitment has helped us in preserving the traditional crafts of India and created employment opportunities in rural areas.




Are All Firstweave Products Handmade?


Most of our products are handmade and directly sourced from artisans and self help groups. We take responsibility for our footprint and strive to find innovative ways to weave in true sustainability across the supply chain, starting with us.





Returns & Exchanges

What Is Firstweave Return Policy?


We assure you that all products sold on firstweave.com are brand new and 100% genuine. In the unlikely event that any product you have bought from us is not received in good condition, is damaged or defective, customers may exchange/return the product unused, and should be in the same condition as he/she purchased it, in its original packaging along with original tags and bills/invoices provided. To be eligible for a return, product needs to be in our returnable category, your product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Requests for returns are accepted provided that if we are intimated about the request within 15 (Fifteen) days of receipt of the products. Made-to-order/Customized/Special-Orders can not be returned or exchanged as the weavers make these products on receiving the order. The product cannot be returned in conditions which indicate that this product has been used, washed, ironed or tampered in any way.




Can I Return Sale Products?


Only regular priced products may be refunded, unfortunately sale products cannot be refunded.




What Is Exchange?


Made-to-order/Customized/Special Orders can not be exchanged as the weavers make these products on receiving the order. We only replace products if they are defective or damaged. If the product received is the product (in our returnable category product) is in a 'Damaged' or 'Defective' condition , you may request a exchange. Exchange is subject to availability of stock. If the product is out of stock, you will receive a full refund, no questions asked.




How Do I Return An Product Purchased On firstweave.com?


Made-to-order/Customized/Special products products or international cannot be replaced or returned. To return your product, you should mail your product to: First Weave & Co. I-103, Bren Avalon, Doddenakundi, Karthik Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560048 You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your product. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Keep all price tags, labels, original packing and invoice along with the product being returned to us. Pack the product safely to ensure against damage in transit. Mention the OrderID/Return ID on the package so that we can acknowledge your return. If you are shipping an product, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned product. Please ensure that the product return request is initiated within 15 (Fifteen) days of receipt of the product.




What Is The pickup Process For Exchange Products? Do I Need To Ship The Product?


If you need to exchange it for the same product, Once you have requested for a replacement. Send us an email at customersupport@firstweave.in and send your product to: First Weave & Co. I-103, Bren Avalon, Doddenakundi, Karthik Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560048 Keep all price tags, labels, original packing and invoice along with the product being returned to us. Pack the product safely to ensure against damage in transit.




When Do I Get The Refund?


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned product. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.




What If I have Requested A Replacement, When Will I Get It?


Once a replacement request is created, we send you an email and provide details about the replacement. In most of our locations, the replacement product is delivered to you at the time of pick-up. In all other areas, the replacement is initiated after the originally delivered product is picked up/received. If you don't get the return within the promised date, contact us immediately.




I Have Still Not Received The Refund To My Bank Account/Credit Card. Why?


If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customersupport@firstweave.com.




How Can I Cancel An Order?


Once you confirm payment of your order, your order cannot be changed or cancelled. You will need to write/contact us within 12 hours of placing your order for us to be able to confirm this cancellation. In case we have already processed your order you will be advised that the cancellation is not possible.





Shipping Details

What Are The Shipping Charges?


Shipping charges vary depending on the value of the shopping cart. If the value of your order is above Rs. 999/-, shipping across INDIA will be completely FREE. A platform handling fee of Rs. 100/- will be applicable to the orders under Rs. 999/-.




Why Does The Delivery Date Not correspond To The Delivery Timeline?


All orders placed on Firstweave are dispatched through other courier partners such as Blue Dart, Delhivery Etc. When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at customersupport@firstweave.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.




Are There Any Other Hidden Charges (GST, etc) On Products?


No. Order value is calculated after applying discounts / VAT / GST or any other applicable charges. Delivery Charges are not hidden.




Firstweave Does Not/Cannot Ship To My Area. Why?


Please write to us, and we will notify you about the same.




Does Firstweave.com Deliver Internationally?


Yes. We have started accepting International orders. Shipping prices are dependent on the volumetric weight of the total package. We will deliver where ever you want to.
